Using fresh and locally sourced ingredients, Little Tums offer a 3-week rolling menu, which doesn’t just offer a great variety of food but also meets the “Healthy Choice Award” guidelines that have been set out to the highest standard. Their menu plan has been awarded the highest Gold accreditation by being fully compliant with the recommended GDA’s and dietary requirements for children of nursery and school age.
The menus are designed in-house by a team of qualified chefs and then independently evaluated to ensure they meet the daily nutritional guidelines. Therefore, each child that receives a Little Tums meal is being provided a healthy, balanced and nutritious meal.

Hot lunches
Little Tums' homemade hot lunches are all prepared on the day they are to be served, this ensure that each meal that is prepared, only contains ingredients that are fresh and tasty, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the meals.
Special dietary and cultural meals, make up a large percentage of the meals we prepare daily. Much care is taken into ensuring that they are prepared, in line with the children’s requirements. The dietary chefs take great pride in ensuring that their meals, are just as nutritionally balanced and tasty and therefore enjoyed. It is important that each child, regardless of their dietary, allergen or cultural needs has access to meals that are as similar as possible to our main menu.
All hot food is cooked to a minimum of 85 degrees centigrade, and once this minimum temperature is reached, the meals are packed into gastronorm containers. These are then sealed and labelled with the nursery name and allergen information. These are then packaged into hot holding thermo boxes which ensure your meals remain hot through transportation and arrive to you hot and ready to serve.
